Top Liberal Arts Colleges in Wisconsin

Lawrence University and Beloit College are the Top 2 liberal arts colleges in the state of Wisconsin and they are ranked as Tier 1 schools by the US News & World Report.

Lawrence is placed 1st in the state and 56th nationally. According to a report on America's top colleges by Forbes.com, Lawrence is the top-ranked undergraduate institution in Wisconsin and 68th best in the country. It is also included in the 2009 edition of The Princeton Review's annual book on undergraduate education: "The Best 368 Colleges". It is rated 12th in best college theatre program, 4th in most accessible professors, and 13th in best classroom experience.

Beloit College is a private coeducational liberal arts college and a member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest. It is placed 60th best liberal arts school by the US News. In 2007, it was ranked 35th for "Best Value".
