Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU)

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is a Top Tier university located in Manchester, New Hampshire (USA), offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in liberal arts, business, education, hospitality and community economic development. It was formerly known as New Hampshire College of Accounting and Commerce. The name was changed to Southern New Hampshire University on July 1, 2001. It became the first carbon-neutral university in New Hampshire in 2007.

The University is regionally accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges. It is also one of only a few American institutions that is accredited by the European Council for Business Education (ECBE).

The university has five schools:
- the School of Business
- the School of Community Economic Development
- the School of Education
- the School of Liberal Arts
- the School of Professional and Continuing Education

- Rated as one of the Top 5 New Hampshire colleges and universities, according to DiplomaGuide.com.

- The School of Business and SNHU Online were recognized as "Best of Business Award" winners in the Best MBA Program and Best Online Degree Program categories by the New Hampshire Business Review in 2009.

- Placed at 'Tier-1' regional school in the 'Universities-Master's (North)' category for 2008 & 2009 ' (U.S. News & World Report).

- The online bachelor’s degree in business administration program was awarded the “Best Buy Bachelors Online” designation by GetEducated.com.

- The School of Community Economic Development has been honored by the New England Board of Higher Education. It received a 2007 New England Higher Education Excellence Award.
