Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law

The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law is one of the leading law schools in the country, with dedicated faculty, challenging curriculum and diverse student body. It is located in the former U.S. Customs House in downtown Memphis, near the city's judicial and legal community.

In 1965, the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law was accredited by the American Bar Association, the official accrediting agency for American law schools. It is also a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS).

Achievements and Rankings:

- The Princeton Review ranked the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law seventh in "Best Quality of Life" in its 2012 law school rankings.

- Graduates of the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law had a 93 % passage rate for first-time takers of the Tennessee Bar Exam administered in July 2011.

- It was named in the top 10 of the "nation's most popular law programs" by U.S. News and World Report in the March 24, 2011 issue.
