Times/Sunday Times 2014 University Guide

The Times and the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2014, published in full on 22 September, ranked Cambridge as the No. 1 University in the UK, followed by Oxford in 2nd place nationally and LSE in 3rd place nationally.

The University of Bath achieved an overall ranking of 7th in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2014. In addition, Bath has topped the guide's table of 121 universities for having 'the most satisfied students in Britain', and has been awarded the title of 'University of the Year for Student Experience'.

The University of Exeter has reached 8th place in the 2014 joint Times and Sunday Times university league table. It rises from 10th place in the 2013 Times league table though has fallen from 7th place in the Sunday Times 2013 table.

Swansea University moved into the top 50 places in the UK, rising 5 places from 52nd last year to 47th. It was the only university in Wales to move up the table, and was in the top 20 in the UK for graduate job prospects, with 77% of graduates in professional jobs or graduate study.
