Cal State Fullerton Ranking Profile

California State University, Fullerton (CSUF, CSU Fullerton, or Cal State Fullerton) is the second largest California State University campus, located in the city of Fullerton, in Orange County, California (USA). It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton is the largest accredited business school in the state of California and the fifth largest in the US. The College and its accounting program have the distinction of being professionally accredited by AACSB International at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

- Placed in Tier 1 and ranked 32nd among all public and private institutions in the “Master’s Universities (West)” category. It is placed 8th among “Top Public Schools: Master’s Universities” in the West ranking (U.S. News & World Report “America’s Best Colleges, 2010 Edition”).

- Placed among the “Top Public Universities”, rated No. 10 among Top Public Universities-Master’s institutions in the West (U.S. News & World Report 2009). The university’s master’s degree program in nursing for nurse anesthetists is ranked No. 10 in the nation.

- 25th in the US News Ranking of Top Nursing-Midwifery Schools (2008).

- Ranked 6th in the nation in terms of baccalaureate degrees awarded to minority students (Diverse Issues in Higher Education, June 2008).

- 8th in the nation in terms of baccalaureate degrees awarded to minority students (Diverse Issues in Higher Education, June 2006). It is also ranked 2nd in the nation for the number of bachelor's degrees in English awarded to American Indians and 3rd for education degrees to Asian Americans.

- 1st in California and 5th in the nation among top colleges and universities awarding bachelor's degrees to Hispanics, based on 2007 data from the U.S. Department of Education, according to the Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education (May 2008).

- No. 1 in California and 4th nationally among the top 100 colleges and universities awarding bachelor's degrees to Hispanics, based on 2005 data from the U.S. Department of Education (Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education, May 2006) . It is also included in the "Top 25 Hispanic Enrollment" for graduate schools listing.

- The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is included in the 2009 edition of Princeton Review's Best 296 Business Schools.
