New College of Florida Rankings

New College of Florida is the State of Florida's legislatively-designated "honors college for the liberal arts". It is highly regarded as a national leader in the arts and sciences.

New College of Florida is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of College and Schools. It has been placed among the best colleges by a number of publications such as the U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review, Colleges That Change Lives, Kiplinger’s and The Wall Street Journal.

- New College of Florida is ranked 99th among Tier 1 National Liberal Arts Colleges (US News 2011).

- 12th on Kiplinger’s List of “100 Best Values in Public Colleges” for 2010.

- Ranked 5th among the best Public Liberal Arts Colleges and 94th among all Public and Private Liberal Arts Colleges in the nation (US News “America’s Best Colleges” 2009 edition).

- 9th overall among all public and private colleges in the south and 3rd among all public colleges and universities in the region. (Forbes.com “America’s Best Colleges” 2009).

- Named the No. 2 best value public college by The Princeton Review and USA Today in their 2009 list of 100 “Best Value” Colleges.

- The Princeton Review named New College the best value in public higher education (2007 edition).

- Ranked 2nd in the August 2006 edition of High Times magazine's article "Top 10 Counterculture Colleges".

- Named one of the nation's forty-five "Best Buys" in higher education (Fiske Guide 2006 edition).

- Rated 21st out of the 30 top Fulbright producing bachelor's institutions, according to a list compiled in November 2005 by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
