Queen Margaret University (QMU) is a leading Modern University located in Scotland. It was founded in 1875 as The Edinburgh School of Cookery and Domestic Economy, and was granted full university title in January 2007.
Queen Margaret University has the following schools:
- The School of Drama and Creative Industries
- The School of Business, Enterprise and Management
- The School of Health Sciences
- The School of Social Sciences, Media and Communication
It offers a range of subject areas including Consumer Studies; Dietetics, Nutrition and Biological Sciences; Drama & Performance; Management; Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Retail; Media, Communication and Sociology; Nursing; Occupational Therapy and Art Therapy; etc.
Queen Margaret University has collaborative partnerships with a number of institutions overseas including the International Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata; the Institute for Technology and Management, Mumbai; EASB Institute of Management, Singapore; etc. It was the first UK university with a campus in Singapore, following the establishment of the QMU Asia campus.
