Medical Doctoral University Ranking (Canada)

McGill University has been named Canada's best university in its class in the annual Maclean's University Rankings. It was also placed first among medical/doctoral universities in the national reputational survey. In addition it was placed in the top 3 for: number of awards per full-time faculty, average size of medical/science grants and research dollars awarded per full-time faculty, and percentage of total operating expenditures devoted to scholarships and bursaries.

Queen's was ranked second (tied with University of British Columbia) in Canada in the Medical-Doctoral category of the Maclean's University Rankings. In 2006, Newsweek magazine ranked UBC second in Canada and 27th in the world. It was also rated second in Canada and 33rd in the world according to the Times Higher Education Supplement 2007.
