ACCA UK & Top Universities

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the largest and fastest growing professional accountancy body in the world, with 131,500 members and 362,000 affiliates and students in 170 countries.

ACCA UK has formed collaborations with a number of top universities around the world, including Oxford Brookes University (UK), School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, UK), Heriot-Watt University, Exeter University, to name a few. ACCA has partnered with these universities in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate level accountancy qualifications for its members.

Oxford Brookes University Business School - OBU is ranked as the top new university in the United Kingdom (The Times Good University Guide 2007). It has climbed has climbed six places to 53rd in the Independent’s Complete University Guide 2010.

The University and ACCA jointly offer the degree of BSc (Honours) in Applied Accounting to all ACCA qualified students and members. The degree is awarded upon completion of the Fundamental Skills papers (F1 to F9) and a Research and Analysis Project.

School of Oriental and African Studies - ACCA and SOAS (part of the University of London) has signed a global partnership agreement to enable ACCA’s affiliates and members worldwide to study for the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Financial Management. Graduates of this programme will be well prepared for top positions in government, public services, or international organisations.

Heriot-Watt University - HWU is ranked as the Top 4 university in Scotland and Top 40 in the UK, according to the Complete University Guide 2010.
A maximum of four exemptions from the nine-module MSc programme will be available to ACCA Part 3 students, affiliates and members who want to gain entry to the Edinburgh Business School (EBS) MSc in Financial Management.

University of Exeter - The University is ranked in the Top 15 nationally: 13th in the Times Good University Guide 2009 and 14th in Guardian League Table 2009.
ACCA and the Centre for Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter have signed a partnership agreement for its members to study for the MA degree in Leadership via distance learning.
