MIT offers Free Online College Courses

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is a leading private research university in the US, ranked 1st in the world by Webometrics rankings in January 2009. MIT's School of Engineering is ranked No. 1 in U.S. News & World Report 2010. It is placed first in six of 12 engineering specialties - aeronautics and astronautics, chemical, computer, electrical, materials and mechanical engineering.

MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) offers case studies, teaching videos and other innovative instructional resources to anyone with access to the Internet. A total of 1900 courses are offered for free via online (http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm).
