Top Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering Schools
According to the US News, Georgia Institute of Technology is ranked No. 1 for its undergraduate program in industrial engineering. U.S. News and World Report has also ranked the Georgia Tech's Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) the number one graduate program in industrial engineering 20 out of the last 21 years.
Virginia Tech’s College of Engineering has moved up a place to 27th among all schools of engineering in the USNWR "America's Best Graduate Schools 2010" survey. Four departments within the College is placed in the top 10 of their respective category. The Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering ranked 4th among industrial/manufacturing programs.
The Ph.D. program in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences (IEMS) department at Northwestern is one of the best in the country, placed within the top 7 programs in Industrial Engineering for a number of years. The IEMS department is part of the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, offering undergraduate and graduate programs such as the BS degree in IE (accredited by ABET) and the Master of Engineering Management (MEM).
