Founded in 1925, Mesa State College is a comprehensive regional public institution located in Grand Junction, Colorado (USA). It is designated as Baccalaureate-Arts and Sciences as part of the Carnegie classification of higher education institutions.

Mesa State College offers liberal arts, professional, and technical programs at the certificate, associate, bachelor's, and master's levels. It also offers evening, online, and distance education courses.

The Department of Business offers Bachelor of Business Administration with a wide range of concentrations, Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Computer Information Systems, Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems, an associate degree, and an M.B.A. Degree.

The Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences offers degree programs and courses in Chemistry, Geology, Environmental Sciences, and Physics.

The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences offers the Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Social Science, and History. It also offers a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Public Administration/Public Safety.

The Theatre Department offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with several concentrations including Acting/Directing, Dance, Technical Theatre/Design, and Music Theatre.

The Center for Teacher Education offers licensure programs in Elementary, Secondary, K-12 Education, and a Master of Arts in Education.

Mesa State College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association. The Athletic Training Education Program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
