Founded in 1908, Swinburne University of Technology is a leading public university based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It has been placed among the world's best 500 institutions by international league tables such as the THES and Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Academic Ranking of World Universities. It is the only Australian University to be a member of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU).
