University of Edinburgh Business School

The University of Edinburgh Business School is the business school of the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) - one of the top leading universities in the world. The Business School and its programmes are placed highly in the international league tables such as the Financial Times and the Economist.

The Edinburgh MBA can be studied in a number of different ways: 12 month Full-time MBA, 36 month Part-time MBA, 15 month MBA in International Business, or Modular MBA (take up to four years to complete). It also offers a number of MSc programmes in: Accounting and Finance; Carbon Management; Finance and Investment; International Business and Emerging Markets; Management; Marketing; Marketing and Business Analysis.

The Business School holds accreditation by EQUIS and the Association of MBAs (AMBA). EQUIS is operated by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The MA degree with Accounting is fully accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and qualifies for the maximum available exemptions from the professional examinations. The School is also recognised as a Centre of Excellence in the provision of postgraduate education in finance and investment by the UK Securities and Investment Institute (SII).

It had international exchanges with some of the world's leading business schools such as the Schulich School of Business, York University (Canada); Nanyang Business School (Singapore); Macquarie Graduate School of Management (Australia); etc.

- The Full-time MBA is placed 17th in the UK, 28th in Europe and 92nd in the world (Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2009).

- 11th in the UK, 22nd in Europe and 55th in the world (Economist Intelligence Unit's Full Time MBA Ranking 2009).

- The Part-time MBA is placed 8th in the UK and 66th in the world (FT ranking of Global Executive MBA programmes 2008).

- 11th in the UK, 18th in Europe and 44th in the world in the FT 2008 Global MBA Rankings.

- 7th in the UK and 48th in the world in the FT Global Executive MBA Rankings 2007.

- 12th in UK, 22nd in Europe and 56th in the world (EIU Which MBA rankings 2007).
