Additionally it is ranked 13th among public health graduate schools, 20th among law schools, 22nd among social work schools, 35th among medical schools, 42nd among engineering schools, 46th among business schools, and 64th among education schools.

- Boston University School of Management’s undergraduate program was rated 37th in a ranking of US undergraduate programs published by BusinessWeek (2010). Students gave an A+ to the School’s facilities and services and an A to the program’s teaching quality.

- Boston University School of Management is placing 61st worldwide and 34th in the U.S. and made a significant gain in the category of doctoral rank (up 32 places to 43rd internationally) in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2010. In addition the School's percentage of women students (40%) is tied for the 5th highest percentage internationally and 3rd in the US.

- Ranked 20th in the United States and 54th out of 200 universities (Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings 2009). It is also placed among the world's top 50 institutions for Life Sciences & Biomedicine (48th) and Social Sciences (49th).

- Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Academic Ranking of World Universities ranked BU 74th best in the world on its list of the Top 500 universities in the world (2009).

- The Economist ranked BU’s Graduate School of Management 21st in the US in its “Which MBA” ranking 2009. It is rated 40th internationally and first for “recruiter diversity”.

- 13th in the US News Ranking of Top Schools for Public Health (2008). In addition it is rated 6th for Rehabilitation Counseling Programs.

- 35th in the United States, and 65th in the world (Newsweek ranking of top 100 global universities 2006).
