Turku School of Economics Profile

Turku School of Economics (TSE) is one of Finland’s largest economic science education providers. It was founded in 1950 at the initiative of the business community. TSE is part of University of Turku.

The Turku School of Economics offers a range of degree programmes including Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration; Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration; Licenciate of Science in Economics and Business Administration; Doctor of Science in Economics and Business Administration; Doctor of Philosophy. A large number of courses are conducted in English, and certain Master's degree programmes are offered completely in English.

Post-graduate degrees can be completed in the following disciplines: Accounting and Finance; Management and Organisation; Marketing; International Business; Logistics; Entrepreneurship; Economics; Commercial Law; Economic Geography; Economic Sociology; Quantitative Methods in Management; Information Systems Science.

It also offers the Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) programme which has gained the EPAS quality label. The whole eMBA -programme can be completed in about three years while working fulltime.

Turku School of Economics is involved in many national researcher training programmes such as KATAJA (National Post-graduate Education Programme in the Economic Sciences); KAVA (National Post-graduate Education Programme in Economics); Turku Centre for Computer Science TUCS; etc.
