List of top pharmacy technician schools and programs:

California State University, East Bay - The Pharmacy Technician Certificate prepares aspiring pharmacy technicians for entry-level positions in this fast-growing field. Students who complete the certificate will be ready to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board's (PTCB) National Certification Exam.

York College / CUNY - The Pharmacy Technician Test Prep Program provides a comprehensive overview of topics and subjects relevant to the skills set of pharmacy technicians in both hospital and retail settings. Students are required to take and pass a basic departmental math exam for this program.

Texas Southern University (TSU) - The Pharmacy Technician Certification Program will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s PTCB exam. TSU is one of the nation’s largest HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).

Sullivan University - The Pharmacy Technician Program is operated as part of the College of Pharmacy within the Sullivan University System. Students are provided all necessary resources associated with their training.

University of Houston - Upon successful completion of the Pharmacy Technician program, graduates will receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician in their state. Graduates will be prepared to take the national PTCB exam.

National American University (NAU) - The University's Associate of Applied Science program provides the knowledge necessary to achieve pharmacy technician certification. NAU is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.

Austin Community College - The Pharmacy Technician Program conducted at Austin Community College, Austin, Texas is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. The College is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Rasmussen College - A Pharmacy Technician degree from the Rasmussen College School of Allied Health will prepare candidates to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE), in order to become a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT). The College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
