Playboy's Top Party Schools 2011
The University of Colorado-Boulder is ranked No. 1 in the Playboy's “Top Party Schools” list for 2011, while the last year’s No. 1 party school, University of Texas, dropped down to 5th place this year. Playboy made its decision using input from students, alumni, Playboy’s social media fans and campus representatives.
Pennsylvania State University received the No. 2 spot because of its athletic prowess and guzzling habits — according to the May article “In addition to its formidable football legacy, this ‘public ivy’ has a formidable thirst”. The University of Wisconsin-Madison is ranked sixth in 2011, moving down from third place last year.
The institutions that have earned a spot on the 2011 Top 10 Party Schools list include: University of Colorado at Boulder, Pennsylvania State University, Arizona State University, University of Western Ontario, University of Texas at Austin, University of Wisconsin, University of Georgia, University of Tennessee Knoxville, University of Central Florida, University of California Santa Barbara.
