China College Ranking 2011

According to the Chinese College Ranking 2011 which was released by Wu Shulian (a researcher at Guangdong Academy of Management Science), Zhejiang University is ranked Number One among the top 100 Chinese universities, followed by Peking University in second place nationally and Tsinghua University in third place nationally.

This is the first time for Zhejiang University to rank the 1st place in Chinese university rankings. In addition, Zhejiang University is also rated the best university in China and 66th university in the world according to University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2010.

Other universities ranked in the top 10 list include: Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Sun Yat-Sen University, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science & Technology and Sichuan University.

Fudan University is ranked 5th in the list. It is also ranked highly in international league tables such as the THE-QS World University Rankings, in which it is placed third overall among universities in mainland China in 2009.

Sichuan University is ranked in the top 10 nationally in Wu Shulian's list, while it is rated 12th in the other university ranking list issued by cuaa.net in 2011.
