AFR Boss MBA Rankings 2011
Melbourne Business School is rated top in the 2011 AFR (Australian Financial Review) Boss rankings for MBA programs in Australia. The University of Queensland Business School is ranked in the top two in Australia for its MBA program in the 2011 survey. The UQ Business School has retained its No. 1 position in Queensland since the last survey in 2009.
According to the 2011 survey, the top five MBA providers in Australia are: Melbourne Business School, UQ Business School, Monash University Department of Management, QUT Graduate School of Business and Australian School of Business AGSM.
UQ Business School is also highly ranked in the world for its MBA programs. The MBA program is ranked as amongst the top one per cent in the world by The Economist. In addition, it has been awarded the highest possible rating of 5 stars by the Graduate Management Association of Australia. UQ Business School offers three different MBA options: the Accelerated MBA (12 months of full-time study); the streamlined MBA (only available to domestic students, and can be completed in 24 months); and a flexible part-time option that gives students as much time as they need up to a maximum of seven years.
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is also ranked among the top 10 Australian MBA programs by the Australian Financial Review's BOSS magazine. Its MBA is the first in Australia to have triple international accreditation. It was also equal first in Australia to be accredited by the Association of MBAs.
