Top Architecture Schools 2012

University College London is ranked 1st in the UK for its architecture programme, followed by Cambridge in 2nd place and Bath in 3rd place, according to the Guardian University Guide 2012.

The School of Architecture at Oxford Brookes has an excellent reputation for the quality of its teaching and research. It is consistently ranked by The Architects' Journal as one of the five best schools in the UK, and in 2012 it is ranked 7th in The Guardian University Guide. It is also ranked 5th in the RAE research power tables in the field of Architecture and the Built Environment (RAE 2008).

Architecture at Queen's University Belfast is ranked 9th in Guardian University Guide 2012. The School of Planning, Architecture and Civil Engineering at Queen's has a strong international profile in research and teaching. Queen's University Architecture Programmes has achieved the best possible outcome following the RIBA Visiting Board review during 23-24th June 2011. After the visit, the Board confirmed full continued validation of the three programmes – BSc Architecture (Part 1), MArch (Part 2) and the Certificate in Professional Practice (Part 3) with no recommendations, for another four year period.
