King Saud University (KSU) - It is ranked 1st in Saudi Arabia and 186th in the world (Ranking Web of World Universities July 2011). The Shanghai Rankings, determined annually by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, rated King Saud University as the only Arab academic institution in their list of the top 500 universities in the world.
Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University - The University has for the third year running been ranked amongst the most world universities in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, ranked 3rd amongst Arab and Saudi universities and within the top hundred Asian universities in the world ranking. Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has topped the QS World University Rankings of 2010. The rankings place the university in the top 600 universities globally and as the seventh regionally.
