Best Pharmacy Programs 2013

University of California--San Francisco is ranked as the best pharmacy school in the nation, according to the U.S. News and World Report's 2013 Edition of America's Best Graduate Schools. The University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill is ranked 2nd, followed by University of Minnesota (3rd) and University of Texas--Austin (4th).

The Ohio State University offers a wide range of graduate and professional programs, with 13 ranked in the top 10 and two joining the top 20 list of ranked programs for the first time. The Pharm.D. (doctor of pharmacy) program is ranked best in Ohio and 7th nationally.

The University of Washington School of Pharmacy's doctorate program is tied for 10th with the University of Arizona, the University of Southern California and the University of Utah.

The West Virginia University School of Pharmacy is tied at 26th on the list of best pharmacy schools in the country (tied with five other institutions including Auburn University (Harrison), Medical University of South Carolina, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey--New Brunswick (Mario), University of Connecticut, and University of Georgia). This is a significant jump from its 2008 rank (the last time pharmacy schools were rated).
