Computer Science Rankings 2011

Stanford University (US) is the top ranked school for Computer Science in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2011 subject rankings, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2nd in the world) and University of California, Berkeley (3rd in the world).

Purdue University's Department of Computer Science is ranked 18th out of 100 computer science programs at universities worldwide, and the only other Indiana institution to share the list with Purdue Computer Science is the University of Notre Dame (tied for 51-75).

ARWU is conducted by researchers at the Center for World-Class Universities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (CWCU).
