Top 10 Medical Schools in UK

The University of Oxford is ranked No. 1 among the top 10 medical schools in the United Kingdom, according to the Guardian University Guide 2012 and the Complete University Guide Subject Tables 2012. In addition, Oxford is ranked top in the world for medicine programs (Times Higher World Rankings) and its Medical Sciences Division is one of the biggest biomedical research centres in Europe.

The University of Dundee is a leading UK medical school that offers exciting and challenging curriculum, with strong international reputation for excellence and innovation. It is rated 4th in the UK for 2012, up from 6th in 2011.

University College London (UCL) is highly regarded as one of the best ranking universities in the UK for research in basic medical sciences and clinical medicine. It is ranked 5th in Guardian Subject League Tables, and jumped up 11 places from 14th to 3rd nationally for medicine in the Complete University Guide Subject Tables 2012.

Peninsula Medical School has maintained its top 10 position in the Guardian's medical rankings, achieving 8th position in the nation. The School scored well for student satisfaction of teaching (92 per cent) and overall satisfaction with the course (89 per cent). It also scored 100 for career prospects.
