Top Liberal Arts College in Indiana

According to the US News & World Report Liberal Arts Rankings, four institutions from the state successfully made it to the Top 100 list in 2009. DePauw University is the highest ranked school in the state (#1 in Indiana and #49 nationally), followed by Wabash College (#54th nationally), Earlham College (67th), and Hanover College (98th).

DePauw University is ranked in the top tier of national liberal arts colleges. The Fiske Guide To Colleges 2006 ranked the University as one of 45 "best values". Forbes.com lists DePauw as America's #3 "most connected campus".

Wabash College remained in the top tier in U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings. It is rated 12th of all colleges and universities in the country by Forbes.com. It is also placed in the Top 10 (rated 6th) among best value private college according to The Princeton Review 2007 edition.

Hanover College is ranked among the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the nation for the eighth consecutive year (placed 98th in 2009 US News ranking). Hanover is one of only 14 schools in the top 100 with 97 percent or more of its faculty having full-time status.
