Top Liberal Arts Colleges in Kentucky

According to the US News & World Report, Centre College is the highest ranked liberal arts college in the state for 2009 (#1 in Kentucky and #45 nationally), followed by Berea College (#68 nationally) and Transylvania (#77 nationally).

Centre College is rated 45th among national liberal arts colleges (tie with Dickinson). It is rated #1 value in the nation among private liberal arts colleges (Consumers Digest 2008). In the Kiplinger's magazine, it is placed #30 in value among all US private liberal arts colleges (April 2008).

Berea College has been consistently ranked by US News & World Report as the No. 1 comprehensive college in the South, and it is currently ranked 68th among best liberal arts colleges in the country.

Transylvania University is one of the nation's best value undergraduate institutions, according to The Princeton Review. It is rated 4th among colleges with a "Major Frat and Sorority Scene".
