Top Liberal Arts Colleges in Maine

Bowdoin College is ranked first in Maine and sixth nationally among liberal arts colleges in the United States, according to the U.S. News and World Report 2009. It is also ranked as one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education by The Princeton Review (The Best 357 Colleges - 2005 Edition).

Bates College is a Top 25 liberal arts college. It is also named as the Number One "Best Value College" in the United States in The Princeton Review 2005 rankings.
