Troy University is a leading public university located in Troy, Alabama (USA). It was founded in 1887 as Troy Normal School. The university has been ranked as the best public university in Alabama by Forbes Magazine, and named as one of 64 “Best Universities-Master’s” from the Southeast region by U.S. News and World Report.

The university has the following Colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Communication and Fine Arts, College of Education, College of Health and Human Services, Sorrell College of Business. It also offers a variety of online courses and degree programs through the eCampus.
