Online Anthropology Degree Programs

Accredited universities offering Anthropology degree programs via online/distance learning:

University of North Texas
- UNT’s Department of Anthropology offers the online master's program for those who are unable to attend an on-campus master's program due to geographic or work constraints. The program can be completed in three years. All courses are fully online.
- The department of anthropology is a member in good standing of the American Anthropological Association as well as the Consortium of Practicing and Applied Anthropology Programs.
- UNT is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Oregon State University
- OSU Extended Campus (Ecampus) offers General Anthropology online degree program. Participants in the Ecampus Anthropology major can choose to work toward a Bachelor of Art (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
- Most course work in this program is delivered via the Web, streaming video and DVD.
- The University is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).

University of Wales Lampeter (UK)
- The Department of Archaeology & Anthropology offers the part-time distance learning Postgraduate degrees (PGCert, PGDip or MA) for those who have a degree in Arts, Social Sciences or Humanities. Also available at a distance are research degrees (MPhil and PhD qualifications) in anthropology and archaeology.
- All the distance learning degrees, both undergraduate and postgraduate, are part -time.
- Anthropology at Lampeter is rated the best in Wales and in 8th overall in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2008).
