Florida Memorial University (FMU)

Florida Memorial University (FMU) is a private coeducational university located in Miami Gardens, Florida (US). It is a member institution of the United Negro College Fund.

The School of Business offers a number of degree programs including the BS in Accounting, BS in Business Administration, BS in Finance, BS in Dual Hospitality Management, BS in Marketing, MBA.

The School of Education offers graduate programs in Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, Reading; and Bachelor's degrees in Exceptional Education ESOL (K-12), Middle Grades Mathematics (5-9), MIddle Grades Science (5-9), etc.

The School of Arts and Sciences has the following departments: Aviation & Safety; Computer Science, Mathematics and Technology; Health and Natural Sciences; Humanities; Social Sciences; Visual and Performing Arts.

Florida Memorial University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureates and master’s degrees. It is also chartered by the State of Florida. The School of Business is fully accredited by Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Other professional accreditations include: National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education; National Association of School of Music; Council on Social Work Education. It is also a member of the ACBSP.
