Established in 1969, The University of North Florida (UNF) is a member institution of the State University System of Florida.

UNF has the following Colleges: Brooks College of Health; Coggin College of Business; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Computing, Engineering and Construction; College of Education and Human Services.

The Princeton Review recognized the Coggin College of Business as being among the best business schools in the country. The School of Nursing received the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Innovations in Professional Nursing Education Award.

The University of North Florida is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate, master‘s and doctorate degrees. Coggin College is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. UNF School of Nursing, including the MSN Program, is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
