Indiana University Kokomo is a regional campus in the Indiana University system. The majority of its faculty have a Ph.D. or the highest degree in their field.

The University has the following schools: Division of Allied Health Sciences; Division of Education; Division of Continuing Studies; College of Technology at Kokomo; School of Arts and Sciences; School of Business; School of Nursing; School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

IU Kokomo offers a wide range of majors, certificates and degrees, including the Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of General Studies (B.G.S.), Associate of General Studies (A.G.S.), Associate of Science (A.S.), Master of Science (M.S.) in Education, Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.), and Master of Liberal Studies (M.L.S.).

The School of Business offers the Bachelor of Science in Business with concentrations in: Accounting, Finance and Economics, Management, Marketing. Students who have already earned their bachelor's degrees can take the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting. After completing the program, students are prepared to take the Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) examination.

Indiana University Kokomo is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The Associate of Science in Nursing (A.S.N.) program is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Associate of Science in Radiography Degree Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The teacher education programs are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Indiana Professional Standards Board (IPSB). The School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.
