University of Illinois Springfield (UIS)

The University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) is a leading liberal arts university located in the state of Illinois, USA. It was established in 1969 as Sangamon State University by the Illinois General Assembly.

UIS offers a range of degree-granting programs in the following colleges: College of Business and Management; College of Education and Human Services; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; College of Public Affairs and Administration.

The University of Illinois at Springfield is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The online MPA is one of very few NASPAA accredited MPA programs offered online in the US.

The College of Business and Management is accredited by AACSB International. It offers undergraduate degrees, masters degrees, and online degrees including the Bachelor and Master of Science: Management Information Systems; Bachelor of Arts in Economics; Bachelor of Business Administration.
