America's Best Christian Colleges

Following are amongst the best Christian colleges in America:

Abilene Christian University (ACU) - It is included in the 2007-08 edition of America's Best Christian Colleges. Universities in this guidebook provide "the highest quality education in a Christian environment". ACU is listed in this guidebook for the 11th straight year.

Gardner-Webb University - It has been named as one of America's Best Christian Colleges after results from the 17th Annual National College Survey conducted by Institutional Research and Evaluation, Inc. The survey was conducted between April 2 and July 31, 2007. Gardner-Webb is one of only three in North Carolina to be included in the list. The other North Carolina schools are Campbell University, located in Buies Creek and Mars Hills College near Asheville.

Oklahoma City University (OCU) - It is listed in "America's Best Christian Colleges" and "100 Best College Buys". The University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and offers a wide range of degrees in the liberal arts and sciences disciplines.

University of Mobile - It has been named one of “America's Best Christian Colleges” for the 14th consecutive year. This Baptist-affiliated university is one of only 119 colleges and universities nationwide receiving the designation for the 2010-11 academic year (Institutional Research & Evaluation Inc.). To be considered for the list, an institution must be an accredited, four-year school that offers bachelor's degrees and full residential facilities and dining services. It must be affiliated with a recognized Christian denomination or be an interdenominational institution that incorporates Christian principles into its curriculum. And, it must have had an entering freshman class in Fall 2009 with a high school grade point average or SAT/ACT score at or above the national average for all freshmen entering Christian institutions.
