Times Good University Guide 2010

According to the university ranking by The Times 2010, Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial remained the same Top 3 positions as the 2009 league table. St Andrews moved up a place to Top 4 in the UK. Durham maintained its position as the Top 8 institution.

Ranking Analysis:
- UCL up two places to Top 5 nationally.
- LSE dropped from 4th to 7th this year.
- Exeter made it to Top 10, up from 13th last year.
- Sheffield made it to Top 20 (up four places from 22nd).
- Heriot-Watt made it to Top 40 (up from 47th position), ahead of Dundee (41st).
- York dropped from 9th to 11th.
- Liverpool moved up to 28th from 34th.
- Nottingham dropped from 16th to 20th.
