Thames Valley University - Rankings

Thames Valley University (TVU) is the Number One modern university in London. It is also the No.1 improved university in London in the Complete University Guide.

The university has the following faculties: Faculty of the Arts, Faculty of Health and Human Sciences, and Faculty of Professional Studies. It has three campuses: West London (Ealing and Brentford) and Reading and Slough in Berkshire.

Ranking Profile:

- 69th out of 117 universities across the country, making it the No. 1 modern university in London (Guardian University Guide 2010).

- TVU is the 14th most improved in England and the 18th most improved in the UK, according to the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008. It is placed among the top 20 universities nationally for its Nursing and Midwifery research.

- 19% of TVU’s research was rated as internationally excellent (3*) in the RAE 2008.
