Top Journalism & Mass Communications Programs

Michigan State University is one of the leading centre for Journalism and Mass Communication studies. MSU program is ranked No. 9 nationally among the top Journalism and Mass Communications programs, according to the Gourman Report. MSU Communication Department is ranked first in the nation in terms of research productivity, according to an analysis of scholarly articles that appeared in the eight academic journals affiliated with the National Communication Association and the International Communication Association.

Northwestern and Syracuse were ranked joint second in the country for their journalism and mass communication programs, following U of Missouri-Columbia. The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse was ranked 3rd for its public relations program and its advertising and print journalism programs was ranked among the top 15 in the US.
