CSU Stanislaus Ranking Profile

Established in 1957, California State University, Stanislaus (Stanislaus State or CSU Stanislaus) is a top public university located in Turlock, California (USA). The university is recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top public universities in the West offering master’s and bachelor’s degrees, as well as a best buy in higher education. It is a campus in the California State University system -  a 23-campus system across California.

The University is composed of the following Colleges:
- College of the Arts
- College of Business Administration
- College of Education
- College of Human and Health Sciences
- College of Humanities and Social Sciences
- College of Natural Sciences

CSU Stanislaus is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) as a Master's Degree granting institution. The College of Engineering and Computer Science programs are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The College of Education offers both initial and advanced credential and certificate programs that are approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).

The College of Business Administration is fully accredited by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It is organized into three academic departments: Accounting and Finance; Computer Information Systems; and Management, Operations, and Marketing.

Rankings:

- Placed in the top tier group of the “Best Universities - Master’s West” category, ranked 16th among the public universities in the group and tied for 45th overall (U.S. News & World Report “America’s Best College” 2010).

- Listed among the Best 368 Colleges in the nation by The Princeton Review 2009 edition. The ranking lists are based on the survey of 120,000 students (about 325 per campus on average) attending the 368 colleges in the book.

- It was one of 165 colleges and universities ranked as “America’s Best Value Colleges” by the Princeton Review, and one of 123 “Best Western Colleges”.

- Placed among the Top 100 colleges for bachelor’s degrees awarded to Hispanic students and is designated as an Hispanic-serving Institution by the U.S. Department of Education.

- The Princeton Review named it a 2007 Best College in the Western Region.

- The university consistently receives high ratings from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC ).

- The American Association of State Colleges and Universities recognized CSU Stanislaus as one of 12 public universities nationwide that demonstrate exceptional performance in improving retention and graduation rates.
