Kent Business School & Rankings

Kent Business School is the business and management faculty of the University of Kent (UK) - one of the world's top 500 universities according to the Times Higher Education - QS World University Rankings.

The School  is a member of European Foundation for Management Development (EMFD) and the Association of Business Schools (ABS). It offers a range of educational programmes at Undergraduate and Masters level. The Kent MBA is an AMBA accredited programme and it can be completed in 1 year. The MBA programme comprises three elements: a compulsory element, a set of elective modules and two reports. Core Modules include International Business; Accounting and Financial Management; The Fundamentals of Corporate Finance and Investment; Managing People and Organisations; etc.

It also offers the Masters of Management programme with specialisations in Management, International Business, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, e-Business,  and Human Resource Management.

The School has formed partnerships with some of the key organisations around the world such as the University of Tasmania (Australia), Hong Kong Baptist University, ifs School of Finance, etc.

Ratings and Rankings:

- Kent Business School is placed 11th in the UK for Career Prospects in the Guardian 2010 University League Tables.

- The University of Kent is ranked among the top 30 universities in the country (28th nationally in Guardian 2009) and among the world's top 500 institutions in THE-QS World University Ranking 2008.

- Rated 3rd in the UK for Student Satisfaction in Accounting & Finance; 10th in business and administrative studies (National Student Survey 2008).

- Top in the South East and 9th in the UK (NSS 2008).

- 55% of research at the School was classified as 'Top-quality international research' (3* and 4*) in the RAE 2008.
