Sacred Heart University Top Rankings

Sacred Heart University (SHU) is a top tier Catholic university located in suburban Fairfield, Connecticut (US). It is highly regarded as one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education.

The University offers a range of degree programs on the associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. It is comprised of four colleges: Arts & Sciences; Education & Health Professions; University College; and the John F. Welch College of Business. The College of Arts & Sciences's advising program, Freshman Academic Advising Program, has been recognized as among the best in the nation according to the National Academic Advising Association.

Sacred Heart University has been granted institutional accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The Education program for Teacher Certification at the elementary and secondary levels is approved by the Connecticut State Department of Education.
