HKUST MBA Top Rankings
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School is recognized as one of the most respected b-schools in Asia. It is the first business school in the region to be awarded double accreditation from the US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).
Rankings:
- The HKUST Business School was the first Asian school to achieve a top 10 ranking in the world on the annual Financial Times MBA rankings. It is tied for 9th with the University of Chicago in the 2010 rankings. The HKUST Business School is also ranked highly in 5 international dimensions: 3rd for "international faculty" and 2nd in "international board". The MBA program ranks 6th for the "international experience" that its offers to students. Its highly diverse student body also ranks th6 in the "international students" category. The ranking of "international mobility", measured by employment movements of alumni between graduation and the three years on, has moved up to 15th.
- The Full-Time MBA is ranked 1st in Asia and 30th in the world by another major international agency, the Economist Intelligence Unit (2009).
- The School's research has been ranked among top 20 in the world by the Financial Times in its 2008 MBA ranking.
- The Financial Times has ranked the Executive MBA program, jointly organized with Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, No. 1 in the world (2007).
- In 2003, the Journal of the European Economic Association named the school as No. 1 in Economics research in Asia-Pacific.
- The School's Finance research was recognized as No. 1 in the region by the academic journal Financial Management in 2002.
