I see that one of the business schools mentioned is MANCOSA. It claims to have international accreditation. The countries where it is accredited are Mauritius, Zambia and Namibia. What a joke. We all know what the standard of education in these countries is like. Further I have met graduates from this school who do not even know the difference between micro and macro economics. Do the staff at MANCOSA have publications in international journals? Could the name a few of these journals. CHE gives accreditation if you satisfy certain MINIMUM criteria.

The MANCOSA Business school is a reputable institution with capable lecturers. The standards there are very high. With my BSC in Civil Engineering, I thought I could easily negotiate my way through their MBA programme but it was surprisingly difficult to pass.

The standard of teaching at MANCOSA is very high indeed. I also posess a Master's degree (MSC) in Mechanical Engineering (Cum Laude) from a reputable South African University. I also passed my BSC Degree with distinction from the same university. I then enrolled at MANCOSA for a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management. Believe me, it was tough even though I managed to pass all the modules at first attempt. Anyone who doubts the credibility of the qualifications that are offered by MANCOSA needs to have his head examined. Business Colleges are in fact highly stimulating as I experienced that when I further studieD an MBA through MANCOSA.

Seems the person doesnt know MANCOSA, he or she must try once course. I use to have the same attitude. I have couple of degrees and MScEng, but I decided to enrol with MANCOSA and I know that they are one of the best on what they offer.

I see that Mancosa is accredited throughout SA. My question is, if this MBA is recognised in Europe or US,Canada ?

i think this person has a grudge against MANCOSA because he/she failed.and the nerve to criticize MAURITIUS,ZAMBIA and NAMIBIA standard of education, has he/she studies there to prove that theory?im studying at MANCOSA and satisfied and my advice, dont listen to heresay theres usually two sides to a story.there will always be critics dont let anyone influence your life decisions cause they are sour about something.

HI

I recently registered with MANCOSA for an MBA, after doubting the standards yet never been exposed to any of their courses before. To my suprise, the standard is very high. The faact that it made it to the list of top buss schools in S.A says a lot. I won't comment about Zambia and the other countries, but the S.A. (im a South African, born in S.A. 1970thies) learners ranked the lowest in ratings compared to Zambian learners accedemically. I'm lucky to have attended the best institutions in the world, but my whole perception towards MANCOSA has changed 360degr. In closing my prev lecturer who lectured me at WITS in the early 1990thies now a Dr, is an MBA student at MANCOSA. I guess thats says a lot about the institution.

Hi everyone,

That rite... MANCOSA Business School is a reputed institution with capable Lecturers but also with lecturers not good at all.. like those lecturer from the University of Technology who work part time at MANCOSA Mauritius (YKBS). And Ya, the one above who say "I have met graduates from this school who do not even know the difference between micro and macro economics" lol your wrong, Mancosa standard are very high and you know its difficult to have a distinction too, point below 50 mean failed, Assignment correction hard, hard lol..I agree with the one who say "Anyone who doubts the credibility of the qualifications that are offered by MANCOSA needs to have his head examined".

MANCOSA is better than many institutions that I have attended in my career.

MANCOSA is a good institution that offers high quality education at affordable prices. Fees are reasonable when compared with other insitutions of higher learning. I would recommend MANCOSA and UNISA for Post Graduate Studies. For under graduate studies, I would recommend that one attends traditional institutions to get the foundation on full time basis.

If you talk from the Window you can never know what is inside! Mancosa is reputable and highly recognised internationally. The failure by those so called graduates does not reflect the capacity of the school. Some of the lecturers you have attended are born from the same school. I am one of those!!! Even in other Universities, some students graduate only ACADEMICALLY. some of them can only speak good english and define terminologies but can not practice what they read. An example are those from the media and the politicians. They know the language but they dont know how to act the language.
Mancosa standard has been acceptable in the UK and USA. You can check the details, if you doubt me i will give you and address.
I know you want to have an MBA. Surely Mancosa will be a good try.

The MANCOSA MBA is of good standard and its content is the same as most University MBA programmes. I recently graduated from this course and whilst studying it I was comparing the course work with other programmes. This programme is not about the lectures you attend but your ability and level of application of theory.

Hi Guys

I am intending to do my bcom degree in information technology management.after completing this bcom, can i be able to enrol for my post graduate programs in other universities,i am asking that because mancoca is a private college

MANCOSA is reputable. I have graduated from one of the top 100 universities in the world. I started working and have started my MBA at Mancosa. Let me tell you that the standard is just as high as the university I attended. I have a friend who studied at GIBS Business school (probably with the best rep in South Africa) and he said that they used MANCOSA past exam papers to study from. Furthermore, it is one of the only institutions who offer distance learning MBA, for those who have full time jobs - it is the perfect place to complete your MBA.

I am about to complete my MBA through Mancosa. I had a friend at GIBS and at Wits. Wits quality and Mancosa are aligned.i found the content and quality of GIBS lacking...

The proof is in the pudding when you look at enrollment figures.
Students do not need to travel far to get a valuable MBA from Harvard, Stanford, or Pennsylvania. MANCOSA is shaping his way to the top graduate schools of business and leadership in South Africa. It was so excited to see a car guard named Patrice Niyonteze grasped the prestigious qualification from this institution. I am actually looking to enroll at MANCOSA after I complete my B.Sc. Business Administration.
