Emory University is a top ranked private research university in Georgia, USA. It has been named one of nation's greenest colleges in The Princeton Review's "2009 Green Rating Honor Roll".

Emory University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award degrees at the associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. Emory University Student Counseling Centers Psychologist Training Program is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). The School of Medicine is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges. The M.A.T. (Master of Arts in Teaching) programs of the Division of Educational Studies are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
