Central Michigan University (CMU) is a leading coeducational state university located in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is one of the nation’s 100 largest public universities.

Central Michigan University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. The College of Business Administration is accredited by the AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). This accreditation covers all undergraduate and masters degree programs in business. The Professional Education Unit is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The engineering programs have received accreditation from the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET Inc., an accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and technology.
