Hawaii Pacific University Rankings

Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) is a private coeducational university offering a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the areas of Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Communication, and Sciences.

Hawai'i Pacific University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The Bachelor of Social Work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The Nursing Program (BSN and MSN degrees) is approved by the Hawai'i Board of Nursing and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

- Hawaii Pacific University is ranked 68th among Tier 1 Regional Universities (West) by US News (2011).

- It is one of fewer than 10% of institutions of higher education in the US to be listed as one of Barron's Best Buys in College Education, according to the 2006 edition of the guidebook.

- HPU has been ranked 19th among NCAA Division II universities in the 5th Annual National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) Collegiate Power Rankings (2007).

- It is the only Hawai'i college or university to be named one of the great colleges for the real world, according to "Great Colleges for the Real World: Get In. Get Out. Get a Job (3rd Edition)".

- According to the 23rd edition of Rugg's Recommendations On The Colleges, HPU is included as one of the top 100 schools in the nation.

- The Travel Industry Management Program (TIM) has been ranked 59th in the world when analyzing the number of publications of the leading tourism research journals over the past five years (January 2004-2009), according to a study conducted by the College of Charleston-South Carolina.
