Top Universities in Bangladesh 2011
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology is the best ranked university in Bangladesh (rated 1st in the country and 2108th in the world), according to the Ranking Web of World Universities (July 2011), followed by University of Dhaka in second place nationally and Rajshahi University in third place nationally.
In another international league table (4icu.org University Web Ranking 2011), American International University-Bangladesh is rated top in the country, followed by National University (2nd) and North South University (3rd).

Daffodil International University - It is a top ranking university in Bangladesh, with national and international recognition in ICT, web, research and beautification campaign. In UGC ranking, it is one of the top ten private universities.
East West University Bangladesh - In 2007, Webometrics ranked the University 3rd in all universities of Bangladesh (first among private universities in Bangladesh) and 64th in the Indian subcontinent.
American International University Bangladesh - In January 2011, Webometrics ranked the University 2nd among private universities and 4th among all universities in Bangladesh.
Independent University Bangladesh - It has attained 75th place among the top 100 universities in the Indian subcontinent according to the Ranking Web of World Universities (January 2009 edition). This ranking puts it as the top private university in Bangladesh, and 3rd nationally after BUET and Dhaka University.
