The University of Dubuque is a leading private university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) offering undergraduate, graduate, and theological seminary programs.

The University has the following schools: School of Business, School of Liberal Arts, School of Professional Programs, and School of Theology. It offers courses in the Social Sciences of History, International Studies, Political Science, & Economics, Mathematics and Chemistry, Earth Science, and more.

The University of Dubuque is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Institutions of Higher Education and the State of Iowa Department of Education.
