Leading UK universities and colleges for top-up degree programmes in music:

The University of Northampton - The Music Production (top-up) BA (Hons) degree provides students with the skills and understanding to work in a range of areas within music and media industries, as well as the teaching profession. Students will be introduced to the application of contemporary music technologies and hone production skills. This course is also available to international students.

University of Plymouth - The BA (Hons) Sound and Music Production is a third year top-up course with an emphasis on the creation and production of music and sound within a range of contexts including studio production; moving image; and interactive environments (including live electronic performance and web environments).

Staffordshire University - The BSc(Hons) Music Technology (top up from HND) course is highly practical and students will learn about recording technology, studio equipment, synthesizer technology, live sound, acoustics and electro acoustics, as well as recording systems integration and mastering. Graduates will be qualified to work within the music, media and related industries providing technical solutions for sound production and quality in recording studios, live sound venues and digital videos.
