Following are some of the best Catholic universities in the world:

University of Notre Dame (Australia) - It is Australia's first Catholic university, providing a high level of private tertiary education within the context of Christian values. Notre Dame has been awarded a 5-star rating for graduate satisfaction in the Good Universities Guide for four years running (2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006).

Australian Catholic University (ACU) - Economics and environmental science at ACU received the top rankings for Teaching Quality, Generic Skills of its graduates and Overall Student Satisfaction in the Good Universities Guide for 2011.

St. Francis Xavier University (Canada) - Maclean's Magazine has ranked St Francis Xavier as the top Primarily Undergraduate university in Canada for 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

University of Montreal (Canada) - It is ranked 5-6th in Canada and 101-150th in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2010, ahead of other leading Canadian universities such as University of Waterloo, Queen's University, The University of Western Ontario, etc.
